Nutha Way is an Indigenous youth leadership program initiative of the Law Society of Western Australia working to build better relationships between young people, their community and local police.
Skills for Life
Through the Millennium Kids’ Skills for Life process — and with a special focus on co-design — Nutha Way is empowering young people to address issues affecting their communities. The team facilitate the processes with communities to ensure that solutions come from within the communities themselves. Working like this, Nutha Way delivers culturally appropriate strategies to increase positive interaction in the community, build better relationships with Police. Young People in the Nutha Way program are supported by Indigenous Leaders many of whom are Millennium Kids Alumni.

Stories
Each month the Nutha Way team sets out on adventures in and around the Goldfields. Each visit there are interesting stories about our escapades as well as learning and stories from elders and young people in the community.
“When I was growing up, opportunities like these made me start sticking my hand up, something I’ve been doing ever since.”
